Dont' just assume...

...that a bigger package means a lower price per unit.  Just bought some dishwasher detergent at Publix and saved money by buying two 12-packs instead of the 39 packet bucket.  The price was about 1 cent per packet lower in the smaller packages.  I've seen the same thing there on fire starters and cat food.  This was normal pricing, not sales.
